PESHAWAR, 26 December: The federal government has sent a proposal to the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Finance Ministry to impose tax on Naswar.
A news channel reported on Saturday that according to the Capital Administration and Development Division about 70 percent people in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa use Naswar and the provincial government should also impose tax on it like taxes on other such items like cigarettes, Sheesha etc. According to the Pakistan Tobacco Board (PTB) Naswar dealers do business of Rs6 billion in KP every year.
